| We don't have any Kaulo Ratti foals for sale at this time, but you can purchase an embryo by her (see below). We will, however, have two grandfoals of Kaulo Ratti's for sale due in March 2005. Kaulo Ratti's daughters Balaclava and Rawnie both have foals due by The Road Sweeper. Please contact us if interested in either of these foals. |

There will be a limited number of embryo foals available from Kaulo
Ratti and Balaclava from March
to September. Kaulo Ratti has already had four foals using this
method, with the newest just born April 29, 2004.
Embryo transfer is a process in which a mare is bred, and at seven days, the embryo is flushed and inserted into a recipient mare, who will carry the foal to term. This process allows one mare to have multiple births a year, which is especially important with the Gypsy Vanner since there are so few of them.
